Hi there! My name is J.B. Herron, and I’m deeply passionate about leadership development and creating inclusive, transformative educational experiences. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with incredible clients like Google, The National Association of Realtors, Corporate Leadership Center, Dartmouth College, and numerous high-profile authors. These collaborations have reinforced my belief that education, when done right, has the power to transform lives and entire organizations.

A few years ago, I poured my heart into designing a training program for a Fortune 500 company. It seemed perfect on paper—every detail meticulously planned, every learning objective carefully mapped out. But when it came time for delivery, it fell flat. Despite working with engaged, driven professionals, the sessions felt disconnected. Participants didn’t seem energized or inspired—they just went through the motions.

It was a deeply frustrating moment for me. I had spent so much time perfecting the content, yet something crucial was missing. Watching participants disengage felt like watching potential slip away. That experience stayed with me because I knew these were talented individuals with a genuine desire to learn and grow. I realized then that my role as an educator wasn’t just to inform, but to create an environment that moved people—to foster learning experiences that connected with their hearts and minds.

I began to see that real learning doesn’t happen when participants are passively listening; it happens when they feel truly seen and valued. When they feel safe enough to lean in, ask questions, and even make mistakes. That was my turning point—the moment I understood that content alone isn’t enough. Effective learning requires a space where people feel empowered to show up authentically, without fear of judgment or failure.

That realization shifted everything for me. It became clear that to design programs that resonate, I needed to focus not just on what was being taught, but how it was being experienced. This is why every program I create today centers on connection, engagement, and psychological safety—because when people feel like they matter, that’s when real transformation begins.

With a Master of Education in Adult Student Development and Higher Education and a Bachelor of Arts in K-12 Education, I combine academic theory with hands-on expertise to design programs that don’t just look good on paper—they work in practice. I know that creating meaningful learning environments goes beyond curriculum design. It’s about aligning every piece of the experience—content, delivery, operations, and strategy—to support both learner engagement and organizational impact.
